As per National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Bangalore guidelines Arts, Science and Commerce College, Chikhaldara established IQAC in the year 2004 as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure.
IQAC is the central quality- monitoring body implementing quality sustenance measure for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation and quality up-gradation of the institution. The IQAC ensures accountability and transparency in the quality management system of the institution. It develops a mechanism for conscious, consistent and catalytic progress in the overall performance of the institutions. It ensures the strength, efficiency and fruitfulness of initiatives taken to provide high quality education.
Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of the institution's system and work towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. It functions under the Chairmanship of the Principal and comprises faculty members of the college, representative from the management and local community and student representative with an aim to develop and maintain a system to promote academic and administrative excellence. Through all these processes the IQAC becomes the most important part of the college that brings quality and continuous improvement in all spheres of the academics.
